Today is #lancashireday, so we've been looking back at some of the many projects we've worked on in the County. This is the Hook Beacon at Morecambe's West End Gardens, which was designed in collaboration with local school pupils. We had a fantastic day working with St Theresa's Primary School in Chester today on creating an artwork as part of the 'Masterpieces in Schools' project by @artukdotorg. Each child made a mould with their own unique design to be cast into a pebble, which we're now going to bring together into a unified sculpture. Such a nice evening to visit the reflection garden at @ncmme_miningmuseum to see the National Coal Mining Memorial - Lives Lived Lives Lost. The weathered steel screen represents the coal seam and the glass discs remember the lives of the miners.
